Northern Carers Network Inc (NCN) is a not for profit Carer Support organization operating in the northern metropolitan region of Adelaide since 1995. NCN is funded by both State and Federal government. 

NCN provides support to people living in the local council areas of Gawler, Playford, Salisbury, Tea Tree Gully and Pt Adelaide/Enfield who care for a family member or friend with a disability, age frailty, chronic conditions and or mental illness.

Northern Carers Network adheres to the Carer Support Model based on grassroots, community development principles with our centre being locally based, Carer driven, and providing flexible and responsive support to assist Carers in maintaining their health and well-being so they can continue in their caring role.

Our aim is to support Carers in their caring role, through counseling, information, support, advocacy, respite and link them to appropriate services in their local community.

Our mission is;
'To walk alongside Carers in the spirit of partnership, respecting the rights of individuals and the communities in which they live'.

We currently have over 5,000 Carers connected to our centre and provide a range of flexible support options to meet the needs of a diverse and growing community.
